To save an image as wallpaper follow these instrutions,
For Windows:

• To place an image on your desktop to use as wallpaper right click on it and then choose set as wallpaper.
• To Tile an image across your desktop
  1. right click on an open part of your desktop and choose properties
  2. That will open a box called display properties make sure the background tab is on top.
  3. In the lower right hand corner is a box labeled display
  4. click on the arrow pointing down and choose tile.
  5. click OK
• To display the full image on your desktop, follow the above instructions but in #4 choose stretch or center rather than tile.
