Equine and canine artist, Barbara Nelson, has done it again. Nelson's latest work of art, a life size bronze sculpture of a Jack Russell Terrier, has been chosen for exhibition by both the Society of Animal Artist's and the Bennington Center for the Arts.

The Society of Animal Artist's 43rd Annual Exhibition will be held from September 19 – December 21, 2003 at the Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum in Oradell New Jersey, then will move on to The Wildlife Experience in Parker, Colorado.

The Bennington Center for the Arts Exhibition, ART OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM VIII , will be held at The Center in Bennington, Vermont from June 14 – August 24, 2003.

Both museum venues are very prestigious and sought after by animal artists to showcase their work. Selection for both is by jury and very competitive.

The JRT sculpture may also be seen at her seen on her website, http://www.barbaranelson.net.
